Bavarian State Medal
For 16 years now, Mrs Jutta Auer and Mr Josef Auer (brother and sister) have been running the longstanding family enterprise as managing directors in the second generation. In well-coordinated teamwork the roles are assigned to a commercial and a technical area. In November 2009, both managing partners were awarded the Bavarian State Medal for special services in support of the Bavarian economy. Mr Martin Zeil, the acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology, personally handed over the certificate along with the medal. Especially the company's efforts for the benefit of the environment and the chief executive officers' social commitment were dignified.
Quality Award "Q in Gold"
For special achievements in quality work presents BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH their supplier the quality award "Q in Gold". This award is agreed by all European plants within the product range cookers. Because of the good results we are awarded for the prize "Best Quality 2011" in April 2012.
Jura-Award for living inclusion
The "Lebenshilfe Amberg Sulzbach" has created a new price: the Jura-Award for living inclusion. In April 2013, this was first awarded to companies in the region, who has long been employing people with disabilities. As managing director of Auer Guss, Mr. Josef Auer received the award from the hands of Mrs. Irmgard Badura (representative of the Bavarian State government for people with disabilities) and Mr. Eduard Freisinger (chairman of "Lebenshilfe"). The sheltered workshop for disabled people is integrated at Auer Guss since 1990.
